The Camellia is an evergreen shrub with ornamental value thanks to the rich bloom in the spring. From the many existing varieties, we have selected some that meet the standards of winter hardiness, growth capacity and flowers in four colours: red, pink, white and bicoloured. These varieties bloom roughly simultaneously from February until May, dependent of course on the weather conditions.
At present we have 9 japonica varieties that meet these standards. An exception to this is the Camellia cuspidata 'Spring Festival'. This is a very rich, bicoloured blooming type of pink. Blooming and very suitable to grow as a small plant with many buds.
